Blue Diamond Beachfront Villa, Shoal Bay West

The ground floor opens under a 21 foot ceiling, with glass walls drawing the sea in, a full kitchen running Smeg appliances and an Illy espresso machine, a semicircular wet bar with a stovetop, and a triangular dining table seating fourteen. The middle level is given over to entertainment: a custom pool table, ping pong, card tables, a home cinema, and a meditation room facing the water. The top floor holds a fitness suite with a treadmill, spin bike, free weights, bench and yoga mats. There is a piano, Sonos speakers throughout, and Cat-5 hurricane-rated windows and railings.

The terrace carries a private heated pool, 45 feet by 20, lit for night swimming, with its own sound system at the poolside. An outdoor hot tub takes up to twelve. Loungers, casual seating and an outdoor dining area are spread across shaded and open sections of the terrace, and the sea is in view from most of it. Beach furniture is provided, and the sand is a few steps below.

Five bedrooms, all on the top level, sleeping eleven. The principal suite has a king bed, a lofted office area, a private furnished terrace, and an ensuite with a jacuzzi bathtub. The four remaining bedrooms each have a king bed, an ensuite and sea views. A further room on the same level holds a day bed. Seven bathrooms in total, and every bedroom is air conditioned.

Shoal Bay West sits on Anguilla's western end, away from the busier central beaches. Blue Diamond stands directly behind its own stretch of sand, a few steps down from the terrace, with coconut palms along the shoreline. Guests have access to two regulation tennis courts with basketball hoops, lit for night play and shaded by cabanas, and a resident tennis professional can be booked for coaching. Kayaks, life vests and snorkelling equipment are kept on site.

Butler service is included and covers bartending, beach chair setup, meal delivery and travel arrangements. Daily housekeeping includes turndown, laundry and ironing. A continental breakfast is served each morning: fruit, pastries, cereals, eggs, and coffee or tea, which most guests take on the terrace. Bottled water, coffee, tea and soft drinks are provided.
